FTSE 100 chemical company Croda International has appointed the Big Four firm as their new external auditor

KPMG will take over from the company’s auditor of 50 years, PwC, on the financial year commencing January 1 2018.

The appointment is still subject to shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting, which will be held in April 2018.

Croda’s Audit Committee chairman Alan Ferguson thanked PwC for their service. The former auditor was not invited to tender.
