PwC has appointed partner Craig Hughes as the new leader of its real estate practice
Hughes joined PwC in September after 17 years with Ernst & Young. He takes over from John Berriman, who has led the practice for the last two years.
Craig Hughes, PwC head of real estate, said, “I am incredibly excited about the opportunity to build on the excellent work John Berriman has done over the last two years and help clients address the myriad of opportunities and challenges the current environment presents.
“We are experiencing increasing levels of activity with occupiers from both the public and private sector which is again a combination of increased market activity and a shift from legacy providers and the competition.
“The unique real estate related experience we gained from the Lehman Brothers administration has given the practice unique insight and capabilities that many clients are keen to access.”
Before joining PwC, Craig worked with organisations including leading public companies, sovereign wealth funds, private equity houses, pension funds and corporate occupiers.
