EY will continue in its role until the end of the financial year ending 30 December 2018.

The new appointment of its Big Four rival PwC will be put to shareholders at the company's 2019 AGM.

EY was paid a total of £434,000 by Domino’s for its services in 2016, according to its most recent annual financial report, of which £186,000 was for non-audit work.

EY recently replaced PwC as auditor of Nationwide Building Society.
