Holland takes over at James Cowper

Thames Valley accountants James Cowper has voted in a new managing partner

Robert Holland, who has been with the mid-tier firm for 14 years and is currently business services partner, will take over from current incumbent Steve Clarke on 1 May.

Clarke is returning to full time fee-earning client work after six years leading the firm through the toughest of trading conditions.

Holland paid tribute to the “terrific job” that Clarke has done but warned that the firm and its clients would “continue to face many challenges”.

“This firm is in tune with the needs of our clients, has the excellence that is rarely seen outside of the very largest accountancy firms, and the passion to continue to deliver the support our clients need and to provide the foundations for further growth,” he said.

James Cowper, a member of global network Kreston International, has 14 partners and offices in Reading, Newbury, Henley, Oxford, Southampton and London.
