Smith & Williamson promotes 14 new partners

The top-10 accountancy firm has made the new appointments across its offices in London, Bristol, Guildford and Southampton

Smith & Williamson made seven promotions in its investment management department. Genevra Banszky von Ambroz, Alexander Imrie, Tim Loutit, Oliver Murray and Michael Saunders have been promoted in London while John Davies has been promoted in Bristol and Andy Peacock in Guildford.

Meanwhile Matt Howells and Chetan Mistry have been appointed in the firm’s London assurance & business services and Jamie Lane in Southampton, while Edward Emblem and Angela Hughes have been appointed in private client tax services in Guildford and London respectively.

The final two appointments include Andrew Buchanan in group risk in London and Faye Hall in forensics in Bristol.

David Cobb, co-chief executive of Smith & Williamson congratulated the new partners.

“Retaining and developing the best talent forms a key part of our five-year strategy and gives our clients access to high-quality people focused on delivering what they need most, when they need it,” he added.
