Six partners and 90 members of staff from PKF Frankfurt will join the office of RSM GmbH.
RSM GmbH, which focuses on audit and tax advisory for medium-sized businesses, has 14 offices across the country and more than 600 staff.
“For our global clients, Frankfurt is a strategically important location; a metropolitan area with enormous economic power as well as being an international hub for the exchange of goods and services,” said Jean Stephens, CEO of RSM International.
The news followed soon after RSM announced that Chinese firm Huapu Tianjian Certified Public Accountants had joined its global network as the “first building block” of its accelerated growth plan for China.
Huapu Tianjian, headquartered in Beijing but with 10 offices across seven regions, has 54 partners and 1,733 staff.
“Through Huapu Tianjian, our clients will be able to confidently drive their business forward in one of the world’s most important global economies,” Stephens said.
“We have big plans for RSM in China,” she added.
RSM had recently lost a presence in China when Beijing firm Ruihua CPAs left to join Crowe Global’s exclusive network.
RSM international has 750 offices and more than 40,000 staff across 117 countries and had a total fee income of $5.1bn (£4bn) in 2017.
