A round-up of this week's appointments, promotions, board moves and resignations

EY

Andy Baldwin has been appointed as EY Global managing partner of client services and will succeed Carmine Di Sibio, who will become EY Global’s chairman on 1 July.

Baldwin has more than 21 years’ experience at EY, having previously held the role of regional managing partner and later chairman of the EY financial services organisation in EMEIA, which included overseeing operations in 14 separate markets.

Throughout his career he has also spent time as advisor to many of EY’s largest clients including Capgemini and IBM.

Baldwin began his career with Commercial Union, which is now a part of Aviva.

Julia Hubbard has been appointed as the new FCO of the digital music specialist and will replace David Holmwood who has been acting CFO since June 2018.

Hubbard, FCA, has more than 25 years’ experience in the world of finance and was most recently been CFO at AIM listed Amino Technologies. Previously she was interim group financial controller at construction company Mowlem, group financial controller at lastminute.com and CFO at TV Travel Group. Hubbard spent 12 years at Big Four firm KPMG, becoming a senior manager in transaction services.

Everyman Media Group

Jonathan Peters will step down from his role as finance director at the entertainment company, effective 14 June.

Peters, FCA, has more than 25 years’ experience in financial services. He spent four years as CFO at Everyman Media Group, joining from Belron where he spent more than four years and was regional finance director. He has held various senior positions including finance director of commercial operations in EMEA at Whirlpool and as finance director of Italy at Equifax. He began his career at BDO Stoy Howard (now part of BDO).

AIB Group

Sandy Kinney Pritchard has been appointed as a non-executive director of the commercial bank, effective immediately and will replace Catherine Woods as board audit committee chairman.

Kinney Pritchard has extensive experience in financial services having held a number of non-executive directorships including at Irish Life and Permanent TSB, Skipton Building Society, the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) and TSB and was a senior partner at PwC. She is currently NED and chairman of the audit committee at Credit Suisse and NED and chairman of the board at London & Country Mortgages.

Amiad Water Systems

Avishsay Afriat has been appointed as CFO of the water treatment specialists and will replace Irit Ben-Dov after his appointment to EMEA region manager.

Afriat is a certified public accountant and prior to his appointment was global controller of finance and finance manager for EMEA region at Amiad, after joining the company in 2009. Prior to this Afriat was a senior manager in the audit division at PwC.
