The “non-exclusive alliance” will be the “first and largest global employment law and workforce management services resource for employers”.
It will combine Epstein Becker Green’s workforce management experience and US labour attorneys with Deloitte Legal’s global influence.
A multidisciplinary team of business and legal professionals will advise on workforce related issues such as Artificial Intelligence application, compensation and benefits, global employment policies and procedures, and reorganisation and mobility.
“There is no question that the world is changing and with it our workplaces. We are thrilled to align with Deloitte Legal to meet these challenges head-on,” said Steven Di Fiore, COO at Epstein Becker Green.
The non-exclusive partnership excludes Deloitte US, which cannot provide employment law services, but includes Deloitte Legal Germany and other Deloitte Legal member firms.
Piet Hein Meeter, global managing director at Deloitte Legal, said that as the firm grows its global legal practice the alliance will enable the firm “to bridge a critical gap in the US market to support clients who require a global solution for employment law and workforce management”.
In June last year, Deloitte UK bought eight international offices of Berry Appleman & Lieden, a US law firm specialising in immigration.
