Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) chief executive and advisory services global head Anders Heede will take on the new role of global chief operating officer. He joined BDO in 2008 as the CEO of Denmark.
BDO Norway CEO Trond-Morten Lindberg will replace Heede as CEO of the EMEA region. Lindberg has been at the firm since 1999. He became a partner in 2006 and managing partner 4 years later.
BDO said Lindberg tripled businesses’ revenue and headcount in the Norwegian territory. He will also become BDO EMEA board chairman when he starts his new role.
The mid-tier firm announced on Monday it had found a replacement to Keith Farlinger, in his role as American territory chief executive.
Southeast assurance regional managing partner and BDO Latin American/Caribbean head Albert Lopez will start the role in January next year. Lopez has worked at BDO USA since 1988.
